FAQs!

Check our our most frequently asked questions. Here we have answers to questions on lift tickets, bike rentals, skill levels, and much more.

Where can I rent a bike?

We do not offer bike rental service directly through our school; however, the Bikeworld Bründl is right around the corner and as a spezialist in the world of biking, will get you your perfect bike. Just check out their website and book early enough in advance.

Where do I get a lift ticket?

At the Maiskogelbahn, only 2 minutes walking distance from our office, you will be able to buy your lift tickets and get lift access to many exciting trails on the Maiskogel and Kitzsteinhorn mountains.

What are the minimum skill requirements?

A basic knowledge of biking is needed. Therefore we recommend only booking mountain bike guiding if you already  feel comfortable riding a normal street bike. The rest can be practiced during your guiding session before hitting the trails.

What are your opening times?

We offer guiding from 1st of June till 31st of September. During these months, our office is opened daily from 4:00 pm till 6:00 pm as we are out guiding the rest of the day.

What are the minimum requirements?

For private guiding and kids training, the minimum age is 6 y/o. For the Kids Freeride Camp, the min. age is 8 y/o. Basic biking skills are required.

Do you also offer guiding for larger groups such as schools and companies?

We do offer guiding for larger groups upon request. We also organize biking camps for the purpose of team building together with professionals in the field and would be more than happy to welcome your team or school class to explore the trails with us.

What is included in the course price?

The prices only include the guide, not, however, the rental bike or the lift ticket. Please check out Bikeworld Bründl for rentals and Kitzsteinhorn Bergbahnen for the lift ticket; provided that you want to use the lift facilities during your guiding adventure.

Will I need a spezial insurance?

Always check back with the terms and conditions of your travel insurance provider when doing something potentially dangerous like mountain biking. Most importantly, make sure that your insurance also covers helicopter rescues. If you are still in need of an emergency insurance that covers you whereever you are around the globe, check out Naturfreunde insurance.
